Merlot has finally found its perfect location in the beautiful vineyards around Motovun in Istria. Here the grapes are handpicked and when the maceration process is over, the wine ages for 18 months in french wooden barrels. The result is a tender, soft, and velvety-like wine with intense aromas of berries. It is well paired with coconut octopus or lamb ravioli with butter and sage. It is best served at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
