Portorose is an homage to the chic Portorož Palace Hotel on the Adriatic coast. A dry, elegant rosé made from Istrian native Borgonja grapes, the wine shimmers with a bright, dense vermillion complexion and sandstone highlights. The aroma is a comforting blend of raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry with notes of earthy lavender while the fine tannins, moderate acidity, and intense flavour persist from beginning to end.
Portorose serves as an excellent aperitif when chilled or as a complement to light appetizers and is especially enjoyable on its own during the cold winter months as a hopeful reminder of summer. Recommended serving temperature: 8° to 12°C.
