Malvazija is a dry white wine with an elegant golden complexion. A procession of citrus fruit and orange peel, peach, and pineapple notes saunter through the olfaction, followed by the familiar Malvasian scent of acacia flowers. The flavour is intense, yet balanced and remains on the palate after consumption with a fresh and gratifying peach aftertaste.
Malvazija goes well with pasta, fish, and seafood dishes and pairs delectably grilled Novigradske Kapešante scallops harvested where the Mirna River meets the Adriatic in nearby Novigrad. Recommended serving temperature: 10° to 12°C.
