Rosé Teran is a rosé wine made from typically red teran grapes native to Istria. The grapes are macerated, then fermented at low temperatures to emphasize the pulp of the fruit. The result is a coral-tinged wine with various berry and citrus fragrances and a clear, soft taste underscored with cherry, raspberry, and blackberry flavours.
Rosé Teran makes for an alluring aperitif on its own or matched with mild meat or fish dishes. It pairs fantastically with the complex flavours of pizza or shellfish. Recommended serving temperature: 6° to 8°C.
