The Pietro & Pietro heritage of truffle prospecting began in 1932, when Pietro Černeka was joined by Reno, a sniffer dog who developed into an exemplary truffle hunter. Six generations later, the mother/daughter tandem of Anita and Danijela follow their accomplished truffle hounds, Biba and Mojca, into the enigmatic forests of Motovun at dawn or dusk to search for buried treasure. The pair is eager to pass on their knowledge and usher in a new generation of truffle tradition stewards.
