Dvorac Belaj was founded on the grounds of the historic Belaj Castle by the Belay family in 2011 but the estate’s saga of winemaking dates back to the castle’s initial construction in the 16th century. The family completely transferred production into the château’s cellars in 2016, drawing on a prestige established by medieval aristocrats and ministers within the former Austrian Empire.
Dvorac Belaj’s combination of tradition, pristine sun and soil conditions, and a dedication to excellence result in wines that are recognized for their quality within Croatia and abroad, consistently receiving gold and silver awards at competitions around the world.
